Dear Library Member,

I am pleased to announce the start of the Library's pilot program, Books By Mail.  If you are temporarily or permanently homebound or facility bound, and an Old Bridge resident, you may qualify for this program.  We will mail you books in a reusable nylon pouch with all postage paid by the Library.  The books will have a three-week loan period and may be renewed if no one is waiting for them.  Please call me (x5014) or our Circulation Department supervisor, at 732-721-5600 x5012 to see if you qualify.

We've just added Insectropolis to our Museum Pass Program!  View thousands of beautiful and bizarre exotic insects from all over the world. Play bug games on touch-screen computers. Pretend you are a termite as you crawl through a mudtube. Watch ants forage for food and safely get up close to an observation hive to see busy bees. Your visit is not complete unless you touch a bug! Touch a live tarantula, scorpion, millipede, and a hissing cockroach before you leave.  Insectropolis has over a dozen exhibit areas that are sure to educate and entertain.  Call us at 732-721-5600 x5010 to make a reservation for the Insectropolis pass!

Should You Buy a Franchise?  SCORE presents franchise advisor and professional speaker, Mariel Miller, of Franchise Performance Engineering.  Learn what you need to do to research a franchise opportunity and succeed in business in today's markets.  Join us on Wednesday at 7 pm.  No registration required.

Teens! Give free rein to your creative side and come celebrate the 60th anniversary of Peep perfection on Maker Monday night at 7 pm.  Create fun designs and artistic masterpieces with Peeps we provide.  If you want to riff off some fantastic ideas, you'll have a blast at this Peep Page.  Just drop in on Monday night!

Then come to Gaming Club on Thursday at 7 pm!  Play games together in the library! Bring in your handheld games to interact with others, or bring in your collectible card games to battle or trade. Make new friends as you discover new games to play!  For grades 4 through 12.

Have a spectacular week.  See you in the Library!

Regards,
Nancy Cohen, Library Director
