Dear Library Member,
We love our patrons year-round in everything we do - helping you learn something new, find a job, or give you a new book to enjoy. In February though, we want to show our love of the community in more obvious ways so keep your eye out for giveaways, signs and fine forgiveness to name a few!
February is also Black History Month. We have a special display of books and DVD's in the Library in honor of this month and an African American genealogy program later in the month. Please browse our display which is only a small portion of what the Library can offer to learn about this important part of our history.
To help prepare for new carpeting in the Library, the Friends will temporarily stop taking donations of books and DVD's. No donations will be accepted between February 1 and February 21. Please wait to make your generous donations when they resume on Monday, February 22. Thanks so much for your patience and understanding!
This month's Maker Monday theme is dragons for the Chinese Lunar New Year. Each Monday the skill level changes according to the age group involved. This Monday ages 5-8 will create their own dragons and learn STEAM skills in the process. Please join us at 7 pm.

Tweens- tremendous things are in store for you this week! Wonderful surprises await you at our exciting night filled with crafts, games and treats! Join us for the Charlie & The Chocolate Factory Party on Friday at 7 pm. You don't need a Golden Ticket to get in, you just need to be between the ages of 8 and 12!
On Saturday at noon, Space and Time Magazine Editor-in-Chief Hildy Silverman and associate editors will discuss methods to get your short story noticed and published successfully. They will critique and discuss your 500-word writing sample. Please email your sample this week to dooteronomy@yahoo.com for review.
Please look at our calendar below for other wonderful programs!
Have a spectacular week. See you in the Library!
