Calling All Collectors!

Dear Library Member,

Finally, a Nashville-style country band in the Tri-State area, featuring an all star cast of professional country musicians. NashEast covers six decades of popular country music, featuring a well-rounded mix of today's new country music and the classic "Honky Tonk" hits of yesterday.  NashEast will perform at the Library on Saturday, December 12 at 2:30 pm.  Free and open to all.

Learn how to use Internet sources to locate information on your family history, including Ancestry.com available at the Library, on Wednesday evening at 7 pm in our program, Genealogy Research and the Internet.  Presented by members of the Central Jersey Genealogical Club.  Free and open to all.

Calling all teens!  Looking for something new and interesting to do this week?  Come to the Gingerbread Build-Off at the Library on Wednesday at 7 pm!  Use the delicious supplies provided to build the best gingerbread house in the allotted one hour time limit.

Digital cameras can mean a flood of photos and videos sitting on your computer.  Learn fun and easy ways to share those pics with your friends and family.  Come to our Photo Sharing class at 7 pm on Wednesday night!

Soldering is one of the most fundamental skills needed to dabble in the world of electronics. They go together like peas and carrots. And, although it is possible to learn about and build electronics without needing to pick up a soldering iron, you'll soon discover that a whole new world is opened with this one simple skill.  All are welcome to come to our soldering class on Wednesday evening at 7 pm to learn this invaluable skill.  Earn a soldering badge in the process!

New sewing classes begin this week for all ages.  On Saturday, December 12, Part 1 of Teen/Adult sewing will teach you all about alterations and "fix-it" projects from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm.  On Sunday, December 13, a Children's Sewing Workshop will help kids learn to sew and make their own creations.  Please register below for each class.

The Library wants to display your collections for the whole community to see.  Right now we have a beautiful button collection in our lobby display case.  We have plenty of space to display artwork, memorabilia, dolls, stamps, toys and other collections you treasure.  Please email or call me to arrange to share them with the whole community!

I look forward to seeing you in the Library.  Have a wonderful week!

Regards,
Nancy Cohen, Library Director
