Dear Library Member,
Celebrate the release of the new Diary of a Wimpy Kid - Old School by unplugging. See what we have in store as we play the old school way. Play games like hop scotch and bingo and learn how to use a hula hoop! This program is for those in grades 3 and up on Tuesday at 6:30 pm. Join us and go analog for the evening!
A social networking website that's designed for finding and sharing short updates, Twitter is becoming a useful tool for finding out what's going on with the people and things that matter to you most. Learn the many ways you can use Twitter to enhance your own life. Twitter: How It Works and How to Use It on Tuesday at 2:30 pm will be most useful for those with some internet experience.
Alphabet Art is on Friday the 27th from 11 am to 12 pm. Children ages 2 and up can drop in with an adult to make an easy alphabet-themed craft. This Friday's craft is brought to you courtesy of the Letter "X".
Don't forget that if you are in need of some assistance with social media, the Internet, email or your tech device, the Library offers twice per week drop-in help and also one-to-one appointments. Teen Tech Buddies meet Mondays from 6 to 8 pm and Saturdays 11 am to 1 pm. Just drop in! You can also call for a personal appointment at your convenience with Managing Librarian, Jonathan Upton, by calling 732-721-5600 x5045.
Have a beautiful Thanksgiving. See you in the Library.
Regards,
