Dear Library Member,

When you give blood you are giving another birthday, another anniversary, another day at the beach, another night under the stars, another talk with a friend, another laugh, another hug, another chance.  Please consider giving blood at this Wednesday's Blood Drive from 2:15 to 6:45 pm.  No appointment necessary.  The Library is offering up to $10 in fine and fine forgivness for those who donate.  Click here for eligibility to donate.

On Thursday at 2:30 pm the Library is pleased to offer another new technology class - Cloud Apps!  Create and edit documents from any computer, without the need for expensive software. Cloud apps such as Google Docs and Dropbox help you to be productive wherever you go, and save and share your files with ease!  Please register here for this class.

Hugo Award winning editor, Ellen Datlow, will speak at the Library on Saturday, October 3 at 12 pm.  Ms. Datlow will speak on the state of horror writing and answer writing and publishing questions from audience members.  She is the 2014 winner of the World Fantasy Award for Life Achievement and has a long and critically acclaimed career in the editing field.  We urge you to join us for this distinguished speaker's presentation.

Do you need help getting around your laptop or tablet? Would you like to set up an e-mail account? Do you want to download an eBook, learn the basics of the Internet or upload/download email attachments?  Get help with these needs as well as others starting
October 1 with free one-to-one appointments at your convenience at the Library.  These one-hour appointments are limited to Old Bridge card-holders who may make one appointment per month for help.  Please call 732-721-5600 x5045 on or after October 1 to set an appointment.

Don't forget about our Tech Buddies who also provide tech help on a drop-in basis on Monday evenings from 6-8 pm and Saturdays from 11 am to 1 pm.

Have a wonderful week and see you in the Library!

Regards,
Nancy Cohen, Library Director
