We are pleased to offer two interactive health-related programs this week. First, on Tuesday, Aug. 18th at 7pm we will present a workshop on
"Super-Food Smoothies." Participants will learn how to make three healthy, delicious smoothies using ingredients currently growing in our Idea Farm garden. Recipes will be provided and the program is open to adults, teens and children ages 9 and over. Pre-registration is required by calling 1-732-721-5600 x5033 or

Then, on Wednesday, Aug. 19th, we will present an informative session entitled, "The 10 Warning Signs of Alzheimer's Disease." This program will discuss the importance of early detection, and how warning signs of the disease are often falsely dismissed as side effects of normal aging. It will also address commonly-held fears about Alzheimer's and will separate myth from reality. The hour-long session will be hosted by Rose Berger, MSW, of the Greater NJ Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association.
Local business owners -- or those interested in starting a business -- may wish to register for one of our
SCORE counseling sessions at 7pm and 8pm on the third Wednesday of each month.
SCORE helps bring business ideas and plans to reality. Counseling is provided by experienced business owners and corporate executives who have volunteered to share their expertise with the local business community. Register here.
