From 11am-4pm, there will be meet and greets, comic make-up demonstrations, a Dr. Who celebration, Cosplay and guest artists including Anthony Schiavino (Sergeant Zero), Neil Vokes (Spider-Man, Superman Adventures) and Tom Smith (Marvel, DC). Updates and schedules can be found at http://obplcc.tumblr.com

Stop by this week for several lively book discussions. On Monday, Aug. 10th at 7pm, our "Ladies Night Out" event will focus on the Invention of Wings, by Sue Monk Kidd, as well as The Good Earth by Pearl S. Buck. In addition, our "Bookenders Book Discussion" on Thursday, Aug. 13th at 6:30pm will examine the Book of Joe, by Jonathan Trooper.

Also on Thursday will be our Video Game Heroes program featuring "Kirby" for kids in grades 4-12, as well as our Intro to 3D Printing Idea Farm class. Both start at 7pm.
