Psychic Barbara Lee Returns

Dear Library Member,

It's been an action packed summer at the Library so far with much more to come!

We are extremely pleased to announce that the Library now offers faxing, color and double-sided copying, and scanning to email services for your convenience.  Come in and take advantage of them!

On Tuesday, July 14 the Library will be transitioning public computers to a new and more robust computer and print management system.  During this transition some public computers may be unavailable for use from 10 am until mid-afternoon.  The Library will have a number of alternate computers available for public use.  Thank you for your patience during this transition.

The highly-anticipated Home News Tribune's annual Best of the Best competition is now open for voting.  Vote NOW for the Old Bridge Public Library as best library here.   Printed ballots are in the newspaper and will run every Wednesday and Sunday until August 12.  A link to the ballot is also on the Library's home page.  Don't miss your chance to vote and make Old Bridge shine in every category!

Looking for something to do this summer?  Well, check out our free Museum Pass program!  Through the support of the Friends of the Library, we have just added two wonderful museum passes in addition to the Grounds for Sculpture and the Intrepid Museum - the Garden State Discovery Museum and the Academy of Natural Sciences!  These highly rated museums offer great fun and educational opportunities for both adults and children and are perfect day trips.  All of our passes can be used throughout the year and admit multiple adults and children.

There will be a genealogical workshop on Thursday, July 16 at 7pm for all those interested in exploring their history.  Speakers Nancy C. Nelson and Carol M. Schaeffer will teach you how you can use both high and low tech tools to locate information, how to develop research plans and how to organize and preserve data. Learn about our new database Ancestry.com at the same time!

Well-known psychic medium, Barbara Lee, will be speaking about her work on Saturday, July 18 at 2 pm.  She will also interact with some random audience members.  Seating is limited for this very popular speaker.  There is a chance that you may be turned away if capacity is reached.

Have a wonderful week and see you in the Library!

Regards,
Nancy Cohen, Library Director
