Dear Library Member,
Tai chi is a slow-motion, moving meditative exercise for relaxation, health and self-defense. Originally from China, Tai Chi has gained enormous popularity in America and throughout the rest of the world for its health benefits. Tai chi master, Andy Lee of Tai Chi USA, will return to the Library this Wednesday, July 8 at 7pm to provide instruction in this ancient art. Learn how to relax and improve your health by joining us this Wednesday at 7! In keeping with this year's summer reading theme of Heroes, the Library has a series of programs planned called The Science of Superheroes. Beginning on July 8 at 7 pm, you and your children will learn the science behind flight, Superman's superpower, with hands-on activities. The science behind other superhero powers such as invisibility, thrust and weather will take place in July and August! Registration requested.
Calling all kids ages 10-12! Come to our sewing classes held on 3 Wednesday evenings where you will learn to safely use a sewing machine while creating an easy project! The project this month will be a personalized "throw" pillow, perfect for decorating a tween's room. Please register below soon. Our first class is this Wednesday from 7 to 8:30 pm!
Do you love comics and graphic novels? At Comics Club you can share what you're reading, hear about new comics the Library has and talk about your favorites with other fans. Bring a book to talk about. Our kickoff meeting for the Club is this Friday, July 10 at 4:30 pm.

The Wag Band will be performing on July 11 at 2:30 pm for the Library's Second Saturday concert.

Have a wonderful week and see you in the Library!
