Teen Resume Workshop

Dear Library Member,
Great news! As promised, the Library's Sunday summer hours are starting this Sunday, July 5. We will be open at the Central location from 12 pm to 5 pm. Our opening hour on Sundays will continue to be 12 pm even after the summer is over! Passport service will also be available on Sundays from 12 pm to 4 pm. Knowledge of our family's history has almost universal appeal and helps us understand who we are and where we came from. To help the Old Bridge community gain knowledge of family history, Ancestry.com Library Edition will be available at both Library locations starting Wednesday, July 1. We are also sponsoring a genealogical workshop on Thursday, July 16 at 7 pm. Learn how to use both high and low tech tools to locate information, develop research plans and organize and preserve data in this workshop. Learn about our new database Ancestry.com as well! No registration required.
For teens looking to start building a resume, we have just the program for you. On Wednesday, July 1 at 7 pm, you are invited to the Teen Resume Workshop. Even if you have never held a job, this workshop will help you use community service hours and volunteer work, school activities such as sports and club participation and hobbies to highlight the skills and knowledge you have but may not know you possess. Please come and learn how to highlight your assets! No registration required.
Have a wonderful week and Fourth of July! See you in the Library.
Regards,
