Dear Library Member,

Coming in June, the Library will offer classes in topics such as digital photography and how to buy/sell on eBay and Amazon.  Stay tuned to our calendar and this newsletter for specific dates and times!

On Wednesday, May 20 at 7 pm, there will be a demonstration class on tai chi.  Tai chi is an ancient Chinese tradition that, today, is practiced as a graceful form of exercise and stress relief. It involves a series of movements performed in a slow, focused manner and accompanied by deep breathing.  Books and videos on tai chi will be available for you to check out of the library at the end of the program.  Please wear comfortable clothing for the class!  No registration required.

Girl Scout troops helped plant a beautiful and wondrous Harry Potter Garden this past week with the help of Rutgers Master Gardener, George C.  Materials such as cabbages and hellebore were planted and many others mentioned in the Harry Potter series.  With George's instruction, the Scouts will receive service credit and
help keep the Library's garden looking fresh all summer.  Come take a look at the plants and awesome signage!

Calling all teens and tweens!  Join us on Saturday, May 23 between 1:30 and 4:30 pm for LEGO Mindstorm Robotics! This will be an entire afternoon of building your own creation and then learning simple programming to make it perform various movements and commands. No experience necessary!  Register by calling 732-721-5600 x5028 or online at link below.

Have a wonderful and enlightening week.  See you in the Library!

Regards,
Nancy Cohen, Library Director
