Dear Library Member,
An important change has been made to Universal Class, a resource which allows you to take over 500 online classes at your convenience. Universal Class now allows you to audit over 100 classes without having to complete assignments to finish a class! For those of you simply taking a class for personal enjoyment this will be a welcome change. Simply select Video Audit Mode, rather than CEU Certificate, at sign-up for those classes which offer this option.
Take a practice test of the current version and the new SAT that will be starting this fall. Please bring a pencil and a calculator. This program is open to students in grades 9 through 11 on Saturday, May 16 starting at 10:30 am. Register below or call 732-721-5600 x5028.
Join us on Saturday, May 16 from 10:30 am to
1 pm for the first of two classes showing you how to use a sewing machine by making an easy project! The project for both classes will be an alteration.
Please bring an item of clothing to work on.
Register below or call 732-721-5600 x5033.
Raspberry Pi is a low cost, credit card-sized computer that plugs into a computer monitor or TV, and uses a standard keyboard and mouse. It was developed in the UK by the Raspberry Pi Foundation with the intention of promoting the teaching of basic computer science in schools. This class will explain the technology and walk you through a project to program a camera module. Sunday, May 17 at 2 pm. Register below or call 732-721-5600 x5033. Have a wonderful week and see you in the library! Regards,
