Spices and Herbs in Indian Cooking

*New* Foreign Film Matinees

Sensory Storytime

Dear Library Member,

It is the Library's pleasure to present Spices and Herbs in Indian Cooking on Wednesday, April 29 at 7 pm.  Shyamala Sharma, Master Gardener and health enthusiast, will show how these spices and herbs can be used beneficially for your health and your palate.  The varieties are simply mind-boggling.

Our new Foreign Film Matinees will start on Monday, May 4 with the classic Monsoon Wedding depicting romantic entanglements during a traditional Punjabi wedding in Delhi.  On May 18, Mostly Martha will be screened, a romantic film about a workaholic chef who is forced to adjust to major changes in her personal and professional life that are beyond her control. Prize-winning foreign films will be showcased every first and third Monday of the month at 1:30 pm.  Let us know if you have a request!

Don't forget about Sensory Storytime, a storytime geared to children ages 3 to 7 with special needs.  It will take place this Saturday, May 2 from 2 to 3 pm.   Please register online or call 732-721-5600 x5028 to register.  Caregiver participation is required.

Have a safe and wonderful week and see you in the Library!

Regards,
Nancy Cohen, Library Director
