Just a few of the comments made by our wonderful members during National Library Week about their Library experiences.

Dear Library Member,
Money Smart Week continues this week with two programs. On Tuesday, April 21 at 7 pm, the SCORE organization presents "Dreaming of Starting Your Own Business?", back by overwhelming demand. SCORE also provides assistance to local business people here at the Library on the third Wednesday evening of every month. Call us to find out how to make an appointment!
On Wednesday, April 22 at 7 pm, "Buying Your First Home" will be presented. A financial advisor and a real estate agent will help you navigate the process of financing, selecting and purchasing your first home. With the momentum of the real estate market accelerating, this program is a valuable learning tool.
The Library has a new program for children with special needs. It's called Sensory Storytime and is geared to children between the ages of 3 and 7. This storytime is designed to engage children through movement, music, stories and play. It is open to all children with special needs. The first Sensory Storytime will be on Saturday, May 2 at 2 pm. Registration and caregiver participation are required. Please register (see below) or call 732-721-5600 x5028 with questions or to register. Your feedback will help us improve the storytime.

This Friday, April 24, New Jersey celebrates Arbor Day. The first American Arbor Day was originated in Nebraska City, Nebraska, by J. Sterling Morton. On April 10, 1872, an estimated one million trees were planted in Nebraska. The official New Jersey state tree is the red oak, Quercus borealis maxima. Fun fact: New Jersey has a state dinosaur! Hadrosaurus Foulkii, a duck-billed dinosaur, roamed the marshes around Haddonfield millions of years ago.
Have a wonderful week and see you in the Library!
Regards,
