National Library Week - Unlimited Possibilities
Money Smart Week Starts Saturday
|
Dear Library Member,
Today's libraries are more than just books. Increasingly, they are places of creativity where people can meet to share a hobby, use a 3D printer, edit a video, or use software to record their own music. Libraries offer access to the tools and technology essential to the economic and cultural lives of their communities. What have you created with the help of the Old Bridge Public Library? Did you research or write your book, learn how to make a hand-knitted scarf or culinary creation? Have you used the library's 3D printer or discovered Arduino robotics? Did the library help you find a new job or get your small business off the ground? Or perhaps the library's homework help service, Tutor.com, made a difference in your child's report card or test grades? The possibilities really are unlimited.
Let us know how the Library has helped you learn by filling out an ILoveLibraries heart in the Library. Please click on the National Library Week icon on our home page and sign the Declaration for the Right to Libraries.
The Library is hosting financial professionals for Money Smart Week, an annual initiative of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, to educate the public on financial issues. Our first program is on Saturday at 2 pm, the first day of Money Smart Week. The presentation is designed to help you understand and plan for your long-term care. Have a wonderful week and see you in the Library!
