This Week at Your Library: April 6
Mostly Motown Concert Coming April 11!

Dear Library Member,

I love the '60's Motown sound and the energy and vibrance it conveyed and still does today.  Icons such as Marvin Gaye, Martha and the Vandellas, Gladys Knight and the Pips, Rare Earth, Diana Ross and the Supremes and many, many others influenced a generation.  Most of us who grew up then still know all the lyrics of Motown songs.

Therefore it's a special pleasure to welcome Singer Rhonda Denet this Saturday, April 11 at 2:30 pm, for her Mostly Motown program.  Rhonda will perform a dynamic program of Motown hits guaranteed to bring back memories, have you rocking in your seat and leave you in an upbeat frame of mind.  Donations of non-perishable food items and personal care products are welcome for the Old bridge Food Pantry.

As it happens, the Library has CD's of many Motown artists just waiting to make your day.  Artists such The Temptations, The Supremes, Stevie Wonder and dozens of others are represented in our collection and available for check out.  Take one (or more!) home with you after the concert this Saturday.

Of course, we have many other programs and resources available as you can see from the calendar below.  And our staff is eager to help you make use of what the Library has to offer.

Have a wonderful week and see you in the Library!
