This Week At Your Library: Jan. 19
Time for a Survey?

It has been a while since we last mentioned Zinio digital magazines, and some folks in town may have received new tablet devices over the holiday season.

Zinio is a digital magazine service we offer through the library website. Magazines, once downloaded, are yours to keep, and you don't need an active internet connection to read issues you have downloaded. Zinio has been upgraded since we first offered it, and it now provides back issues. A list of the magazines offered is here.

You do need to create a Zinio account to use the service.

If you are encountering difficulty using Zinio, or have other questions about smartphones, laptops, iPads, tablet PCs and so on, don't forget our Teen Tech Buddies are here to help you out on Mondays from 6pm to 8pm and Saturdays from 11am to 1pm.

Speaking of teens:  this week sees the return of our Teen Advisory Board. We are looking for teen input in our programs, collections, Teen Zone and overall library offerings to teens. The first meeting of the Teen Advisory Board is Thursday, January 22nd, at 7pm. There will be snacks!

Also this week we start our Armchair Art Tours: The Food of Rome, this Friday at 7pm during our restored Friday evenin hours!

See you in the Library,
Darren Miguez, Library Director
