Snow Day Prep!

The colors of autumn are falling fast off of the trees here in Old Bridge, Thanksgiving is on our doorstep and one thing is certain:

Beyond the turkey and stuffing: snow is on the way!

Don't let snow get in the way of enjoying a good book - remember that any time, anywhere you have an internet connection you can download free audiobooks to a smartphone or tablet. Just have your Library Card and PIN ready and go here.

Even easier: pick up a Playaway! Located in our multimedia area next to the Passports Desk, a Playaway just needs batteries and earbuds. Each one is an audiobook with hours of content - no downloading or electronic device necessary. Playaways are the perfect pocket-sized solution to the snowshoveling blues. Come by and grab some now at the library! Search "playaway" in our library catalog to see the selection of titles available.

Finally, if the mail isn't delivered and you find yourself missing your magazines don't forget Zinio - our free digital magazine service. One you download a magazine through Zinio, it's yours to keep so stock up now for the snow days!

We hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving!

Regards,
Darren Miguez, Library Director
