This Week At Your Library: Nov. 3
|
For the first three Wednesdays of November, consider starting that novel you have been putting off! Attend one of our National Novel Writing Month workshops at 7pm on November 5th, 12th, and 19th.
If you would rather consume your fiction rather than produce it, enjoy the Critic's Choice Film Series! This week, on Thursday at 6:30pm they will be viewing the 1962 classic " The Manchurian Candidate" starring Frank Sinatra, Angela Lansbury, and Janet Leigh.
If you need more Sinatra, consider our Second Saturday Performance at 230pm this week: " A Touch of Sinatra"! The life and music of Frank Sinatra provide the material for this musical experience, and we hope you will join us!

"As a young person growing up in Hot Springs, Arkansas, I have many fond memories of the time I spent in the Garland County Library. As a student in high school and college, my love for learning was fostered and enhanced by all the resources I made use of in the libraries where I studied. Today the library is not only a special place for me but for my family as well."
