This Week At Your Library: Oct. 27
Halloween!

Registration is currently open for our Robotics Mini-Camp starting next week for kids in grade 6 through 12. Use LEGO Mindstorm kits to build and program your own robot! Registration is for all 3 dates: November 4th, 5th, and 6th from 3:30-5pm. This is a great way to learn the basics of programming, robotics engineering, and problem solvinbh

Also this Friday there will be Trick-or-Treating at the Library with a special Halloween Storytime at 3:30pm. I will be reading stories, and the Old Bridfge YMCA has provided us with a limited number of Halloween Goodie Bags! We hope to see you there!

If you are in the mood for some spooky classics by Edgar Allen Poe to celebrate Halloween, consider searching our catalog for the keywords "Poe" and "Gutenberg" for access to free ebooks and audiobook from Project Gutenberg. Also consider looking up the works of Lovecraft, Shelley, and Stoker!

For kids, check out our Scary Book List put together by your Youth Services Librarians. Teens can give a look at our Twilight Readalikes, among others.

Regards,
Darren Miguez, Library Director
