Book Art for Teens! And... Frankenweenie!

We have an upcoming program for teens this week - Book Art! Take a look at the photo below for an idea of the kind of creations teens will walk away from the program with.

As we creep closer to Halloween, enjoy a light-hearted not-too-spooky film for the whole family this week: Tim Burton's "Frankenweenie". We will also be starting our Goosebumps Scavenger Hunt for kids in Grades 2-6 on the same day. Pick up a Goosebumps Scavenger Hunt form and turn it in by Halloween, October 31st to win a spooky hand-crocheted ghost.

If you want to know how to crochet your own ghost, come join our Crochet Club on Saturday October 18th at 3pm. No knowledge of crochet necessary - we will teach you the basics!

Darren Miguez, Library Director
