This Week At Your Library: Sept. 15
Help Your Community @ Old Bridge Library

A fun program for you next Sunday, September 21st:
"New Jersey: Where Inventions Grow" chronicles the impact of New Jersey inventors and innovators - from band-aids to bubblewrap, New Jersey's inventors have impacted the world!

A few community-minded items of note for you this week. Please forward this email to anyone who might be interested in these events or items.

  • Want to give blood to help hospitals and their patients in need? Come down this Wednesday to the Library! From 1pm to 645pm the fine folks of New Jersey Blood Services will be here. Help save a life!
  • The Food Bank is also looking to stock up on depleted items as we head into the cold months of Fall and Winter. Here is a list of needed items. We have a collection cart in the Library, by the Used Book Sale; or if you like, you can drop them off at the Food Bank during their open hours.
  • Finally, at Old Bridge Day we will be starting our Recipe Collection for our upcoming Old Bridge Library Community Cookbook 2014. More details on that project will be coming out next week, but stop by for details at our Old Bridge Day booth!
See you at Old Bridge Day!

Regards,
Darren Miguez, Library Director
