This Week At Your Library: Aug. 18
What do pickles  and local teen author Keshav Pandya have in common? Old Bridge Public Library!

It was great to see so many of you at Salt Water Day in Laurence Harbor! We'll see you next at Old Bridge Day on Saturday, September 20th!

This week, we have a few special programs for you.

We have a few slots open in our "Quick and Easy Pickling Ideas II" program on Tuesday at 7pm. This is one of our Idea Farm small group workshops.

On Thursday at 7pm, we have a two-in-one program! Local teen author Keshav Pandya will give a book talk on his novel "Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea", and after that the Teen Sci-Fi Book Club will discuss Scott Westerfeld's novel "Leviathan" - a novel set during an alternate World War I torn between steampunk technology and bioengineering.

In other news, get your best scientific curiosities ready for our Science Fair on August 23rd from 2:30pm to 4pm.

Finally, a special thank you to our Summer Reading sponsors this year:

and of course

For those with Facebook pages, please 'Like' them on Facebook as a thank you for helping make our community Summer Reading program a success! We could not do it without them!

"Information helps you to see that you're not alone. That there's somebody in Mississippi and somebody in Tokyo who all have wept, who've all longed and lost, who've all been happy. So the library helps you to see, not only that you are not alone, but that you're not really any different from everyone else."   Maya Angelou - Poet, Civil Rights Activist, Author
