Have a Great Presidents Day!
Dear Library Member,

I hope you are all weathering the cold and snow. I for one will be quite happy to put my snow shovel away until next year.

Thank you to all 49 people who came to our kickoff of our new Kid's Lego Club. Next week we will begin photographing Lego creations for our Facebook page. If you have a child who wants to show off their Lego building prowess to the rest of the community, make sure you're there, Saturdays at 11am!

Upcoming we have our "Are You Ready To Become a US Citizen?" program - a perfect opportunity to have citizenship application and exam questions answered. Please forward this newsletter to any friend you have who might be interested.

Have a great Presidents Day!

Regards,
Darren Miguez, Library Director

"A library in the middle of a community is a cross between an emergency exit, a life-raft and a festival. They are cathedrals of the mind; hospitals of the soul; theme parks of the imagination. On a cold rainy island, they are the only sheltered public spaces where you are not a consumer, but a citizen instead"
Caitlin Moran, British Broadcaster and Columnist
