Upcoming Events, CERT class notice, Small Biz, & Video!
Dear Library Member,

Some upcoming events of note:
  • This Wednesday at 2pm  a new day-time book discussion group begins, led by Librarian Diane Meyer. Come down and enjoy a discussion of "The Book Thief" by Markus Zusak! Please pass this along to anyone you know who might be interested!
  • A week later, on Wednesday, February 19th at 7pm we have a program entitled "Are You Ready To Become A U.S. Citizen?" - pass this information along to anyone who might benefit from it. The citizenship application forms and test will be reviewed by immigration expert Debby Alter, and questions are welcome.
  • February 27th at 7pm we will host a College Planning Workshop presented by College Funding Associates. Space is limited, so please register by calling 732-721-5600 ext. 5028 or online.
  • Due to scheduling issues, the Community Emergency Response Team class that will be taking place at the library will be kicked off at the Bush Senior Center, next door to us. This first session will be Monday, February 17th at 7pm. The rest of the classes will be at the library.

Before I sign off, a new resource for you put together by your librarians:

A brochure of resources for small business owners, or folks thinking of starting a business. We hope you find it of use, or pass it along to others who might benefit from it. If you have any feedback on it, please let us know!

Finally  - some video highlights of local talent from our Coffee House and Open Mike event! Enjoy!

Regards,
Darren Miguez, Library Director
