| Library Services for Winter, and Twitter |
Dear Library Member,
We hope you are all staying warm as the first winter snows arrive. Even if snow prevents you from visiting us, or the Library is forced to close due to the weather remember that you can access many items online!
Ebooks, Digital Magazines, and our Databases can all be accessed while you sit at home with a mug of hot chocolate or warm apple cider. Just make sure to have a PIN attached to your library card next time you are at our check out desk!
Also, if you want to check the library's status during inclement weather, we are reinvigorating our Twitter Account. We will be tweeting information when we have weather issues, as well as other information of interest to Library members. Feel free to send us thoughts and feedback there as well if Twitter is a better means of communicating with us!
Lastly, I wanted to ask you all if there is any interest in a Book Discussion Group for men? Most of our current book discussion groups have generated a devoted following of community ladies. As these groups choose books of interest to the attendees, so was born the "Ladies Night Out" Book Discussion group. Is there an untapped interest in a Book Discussion Group focused mainly on books for the men in the community? Please contact me if such a group would be of interest to you!
