This Week At Your Library: 10/28
Happy Halloween and NaNoWriMo
Dear Library Member,

This week, please join us on Wednesday for  morning and evening Trick-or-Treating around the library. We'll also have a special spooky storytime at 6pm. Costumes are encouraged!

This Saturday promises to be jam-packed with events. We have the premier of our Tech Buddies program. If you or someone you know could use some help learning how to get ebooks on a tablet or phone, attaching photos to emails, and so on then please try out Tech Buddies. With technology changing so rapidly, we hope this helps folks keep up to speed. Thanks to our teen volunteers for making this one-on-one program possible!

Saturday also is a great day for writers! We'll have a double-bill of programs celebrating National Novel Writing Month - one a novel-writing workshop, and the other a multi-author panel on how to get published.

Good luck to all of our Library Members who will be taking the NaNoWriMo challenge and writing a novel over the course of November!

Regards,
Darren Miguez, Library Director

Our libraries are not cloisters for an elite. They are for the people, and if they are not used, the fault belongs to those who do not take advantage of their wealth.
