This Week At Your Library: 9/30/13
|
Fall Programs and New Study Room Policy. |
Dear Library Member,
We had a great turn out for Amnesty Week! We hope that library members with newly cleaned up accounts visit us this Fall and beyond.
Looking forward, we are putting together an exciting roster of library programs, speakers, and concerts for the Fall and Winter. We are re-focusing on programs of educational and cultural value, and we hope you will find many of interest! Give us your feedback on things you would like to see - we will do our best to find programs the community expresses interest in.
Don't miss our speaker on October 10th at 7pm -- Arthur Goldstone [USMC, Retired] of Old Bridge will recount his experiences during and after the attack on Pearl Harbor.
Our Study Room Policy has been revised to meet the desires of the community. Starting October 1st, our study rooms will be reserved for 2-hour periods at our Electronic Resources Desk. We believe this will make study room usage more equitable. Our next project will be setting up our Quiet Reading Lounges for folks who want to come and go while enjoying a quiet environment in which to read or study.
We look forward to seeing you soon,

"I couldn't live a week without a private library - indeed, I'd part with all my furniture and squat and sleep on the floor before I'd let go of the 1500 or so books I possess." H.P.Lovecraft, American Horror and Fantasy Writer
