This Week At Your Library: 9/23/13
|
New Study Room Policy, and Book Buddies is Back! |
Dear Library Member,
We had a great Old Bridge Day this past weekend! To those new library members who joined us on Saturday, welcome to our weekly newsletter! Here you'll find our events, classes, spotlighted services and collections, as well as the occasional member appreciation coupon or offer(like the one at the end of this newsletter). All of our programs are free and open to the public.
For library members new and old, we hope you find the Old Bridge Public Library an educational and enriching community space this Fall season.
One recently revised service is our free Museum Pass Program. We have recently added the Battleship Intrepid to the program. Feel free to book a pass and visit any of the museums we offer access to.
By the end of this week we should have completed our wifi upgrade that the community asked for in our recent focus groups and town meeting. We hope you take advantage of improved wireless coverage throughout the library the next time you visit for a book, dvd, passport, storytime, or to take advantage of our programs for the community. If you encounter any problems connecting, please delete your device's old wifi setting for the Library and re-scan and connect to the upgraded network.
Also, in response to our recent focus groups and town meeting, we have revised our Quiet Study Room Policy. Starting October 1st, Study Rooms will be booked for two hour periods at the Electronic Resources Desk. We hope this allows for more equitable use of the library's study rooms.
Regards,
|
