On the Move
Looking for us? We recently moved our offices to the former Carriage House at 69 Maple Street, one of three buildings located on the professional office campus that we are currently developing known as the Lower Maple Business Park. Though our mailing address for now has not changed, we are no longer at 1182 Main Street. We are pleased at the opportunity to relocate to one of our most active redevelopment sites while remaining in the downtown area.
The next phase of the project, the rehabilitation of 83 Maple Street is expected to be complete this spring. Rehabilitation of the former Female Seminary at 77 Maple Street is expected to begin by mid-2016. While DevelopSpringfield plans to remain on the Lower Maple Business Park campus, we also look forward to welcoming additional tenants. If you have plans to relocate and are interested in some really special office space in a thoughtfully rehabilitated historic building, give us a call! The campus will include ample parking for tenants and their visitors and is within walking distance to the courts and downtown's many restaurants and attractions.

DevelopSpringfield's Annual Fall Open House Reception
Many thanks to all of our Partners, friends and supporters who were able to join us in November for our annual Fall Open House.
This was a bit of a farewell to our home on Main Street with a great great group of business leaders who met to network, learn about DevelopSpringfield projects and enjoy some refreshments before the holiday rush.

Springfield Innovation Center
We hosted a tour for our Partners and supporters recently to share a behind the scenes look at the future Springfield Innovation Center ahead of planned renovations to create a permanent home for Valley Venture Mentors (VVM) together with an innovation café and commercial offices. Attendees were also provided with a glimpse at the project's concept designs.
The project is slated to go out to bid shortly with plans to begin construction in early 2016. We look forward to VVM and their entrepreneur teams settling in to their new space by the end of next year!
Many thanks to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, MassDevelopment, MassMutual Financial Group and the Beveridge Family Foundation for their early support of this project. We are still seeking additional funding to assist with the fit-out of the space. For information on how you can make a contribution please give us a call at 413-209-8808. Click here for additional project information.
Partners and supporters gathering with Jay Minkarah, DevelopSpringfield's President and CEO to learn more about the project.
The Springfield Innovation Center is core to the planned redevelopment of the Springfield Innovation District, an initiative to redevelop a targeted area of downtown which will also benefit from the City's Union Station project. Click here to view a short video on the initiative.
