Welcome to our April Newsletter.
Spring has really sprung this month and we are mad about brioche stitch so we have chosen some of our favourite patterns for you, as well as a Yarn Shop Day round up and a book review.
We have changed the way we do our giveaways so make sure you read to the bottom of our newsletter for full details.
We hope you have a good month.
Best wishes from all at KnitPro
A Celebration of Brioche

Brioche stitch is definitely in fashion at the moment and we love it so much we have even created a special tutorial for you over on our blog.

which is our KAL for April and May.

No collection of contemporary brioche stitch patterns would be complete without at least one design from Stephen West and the Askews Me Poncho is our favourite.

Katrin Schubert's beezee hat is a great way to practise your technique.

Have you spotted any brioche stitch designs you like?  Why not share a picture with us on Instagram or join our KAL on our  Ravelry group  where one of you will win a lovely prize.
Yarn Shop Day

Yarn Shop Day will take place on Saturday 30th April this year and excitement is already building - we are busy getting taster packs ready for shops and trying to choose which event we will visit.
This is the third year for this nationwide celebration and is the brainchild of Craft Business and Let's Knit magazine.  The idea is for crafters all over the UK to support their local yarn shop by visiting them on Yarn Shop Day.  Many stores put on special events - some hold tea parties, others encourage people to knit or crochet for charity and there are usually lots of offers and prizes to be won.
If you want to find out if your local store is taking part you can check out the Yarn Shop Day map.

Modern Crocheted Shawls and Wraps by Laura Strutt

Laura is a former editor of Craft Business magazine and a very accomplished designer who has published several books.
Her latest offering is packed full of modern and colourful shawls and wraps crocheted in every kind of yarn from super chunky to very fine so you are sure to find a design for your wardrobe whether you are looking for something cosy or stylish.
The patterns are really clearly written, even if you haven't had much experience of crochet and the images of each pattern are wonderfully inviting. This book is a great companion to try out new techniques as you improve your craft.
If you want to find out more about what Laura is up to you can visit her website Made Peachy or you can buy her book here.

H+H Cologne March 2016

H+H, also known as Handarbeit is the biggest craft show for the trade in Europe and exhibitors travel from far and wide to show their latest collections. It is perfect for the buyers because they can meet all their suppliers in one trip, discuss about the new products and prepare for the forthcoming season.

Our Vice President of Marketing, Shirish Jain told us "KnitPro has been exhibiting since 2007 and we have seen lot of changes in these years. H & H has started attracting exhibitors and visitors from across the globe which was not the case earlier. This year we saw many visitors and exhibitors from North & South America also."

We showed a number of new ranges which we will be telling you about in the summer.
