Spring Inspiration

We are always bowled over by the amazing number of new patterns that are released each season.

For this spring and summer there is a very strong trend called Botannicals that takes its inspiration from nature in all its forms with hot floral colours to brighten up your wardrobe. While lace also continues to be a strong influence.

We have scoured the collections and found these highlights for you.  As an extra bonus, our lovely friends at Artesano are offering you all 10% off ALL colours of Artesano Handpainted, 4ply, DK and lace until end May 2015. Simply follow this link and use the code knitpro10 .

New Product Preview

In March the KnitPro team travelled to Cologne in Germany for the annual H+H show. This is a trade show and the largest in Europe where many different companies show an exciting array of new products.

This year the show was much bigger with 3 halls of products.

We launched several new products including a lovely ball winder, Tunisian Crochet hooks in the Trendz range and some new storage solutions which will begin to appear in your yarn shop from July.

Do make sure you keep en eye out for our newsletter at the beginning of June when we will be announcing another new and extremely exciting launch.

Perfect for a Royal Princess

Susan Campbell is a British Designer from the Royal Coast in north west Norfolk.  As well as a knit designer of more than 30 years standing, she is also a professor of Anthropology.  Quite a combination we are sure you'll agree.

Her latest book is called Very British Baby Knits - 5 mini collections each named after one of the Royal estates.  This delightful book features garments, accessories and toys for every precious bundle.  Susan's patterns are effortlessly elegant with delightful embellishments and details.

Our friends at Search Press have given us a copy of the book to give away this month.  But if you can't wait they are offering free postage and packaging if you order the book from their website.
