Toy Story

Whether you like to knit squidgy teddy bears or crochet amigurumi animals there are almost too many delicious patterns to choose from.  Toys are lovely and quick to create and, even though they might be a little fiddly to put together the finished project brings an amazing sense of achievement.

Kids and adults alike love knitted and crocheted toys so here are a few of our favourites.

Edward's Menagerie

Toft Alpaca founder, Kerry Lord, began crocheting 2 weeks before her son, Edward, was due.  By the time he was born, she had completed 14 toys using KnitPro soft grip steel hooks - the first was Bridget the Elephant.  Now Kerry has written a book that features over forty of the mot delightful animal toys you will find anywhere.  Our favourite is Audrey the Goat which looks so endearing in Toft's wonderful yarns.

You can order Edward's Menagerie here and Kerry has very kindly given us a signed copy of the book as part of this month's giveaway.
