Mother's Day 30th March

Flowers have a universal language all their own. Daffodils show you have a high regard for someone; a rose is not just a rose, the colour is very important; and an orchid means you think they are a beautiful lady.  We have chosen a few of our favourite floral designs for you to craft into gifts for mum.

Product Showcase

Every knitter and crocheter has more than just needles and hooks in their equipment bag. At KnitPro we like to have a wide range of accessories to improve your crafting experience.  Here are some we wouldn't be without.

No matter how organised you are with your needles, sometimes they get muddled.  Our Needle View Sizer is also a handy ruler AND a magnifying glass to help read those complicated charts.

Just like lace knitting, socks need to be blocked after you have finished knitting them to help your stitches relax and bring out the beauty of your knitting.  Our sock blockers come in 3 sizes for all your family's feet.

Stitchmarkers really help us to keep track of where we are in a pattern.  We have lots of different types from these handing locking ones to pretty beaded markers. Now you need never lose your place.

Herdy
A British brand at the heart of the Lake District

Nestled in the beautiful Lake District is a fascinating company called Herdy. The company was set up by a husband and wife duo to raise awareness of the plight of the Herdwick sheep and now has an international reputation for gorgeous homewares and crafts featuring the cute graphic of a herdwick sheep so loved by knitters.  The Herdwick sheep graze the mountains and hills of Cumbria and are essential to maintaining the landscape so their future is very important to the area.  The sheep have a really cute white face against their darker fleece and they are hardy enough for the harsh winters.

Herdy have kindly given us one of their felting kits as a prize this month so that you can make your own Herdwick sheep.  If you click on any of the pictures here you can go and explore their amazing website for yourself - we really love the knitting pattern featured below.
