January is a good time to take stock of your stash and organise your needles and hooks so we have some ideas to help you out.

New Year stash busting
With 2014 in full swing we have started to organise our stash of yarn. As you can imagine, it is quite extensive and definitely needs a little bit of 'editing'.
We have found some wonderful patterns to use up some of our odd balls of yarn and we would like to share them with you.
Mini Mania scarf by Sarah Core
The Mini Mania scarf is an old favourite as is the Beekeeper's quilt and the Girls Fox is sure to become a beloved toy.
And if you have any recommendations for patterns that you have used, please do email us firstname.lastname@example.org
Stephanie Dosen's Beekeeper's Quilt
Little Cotton Rabbit's Girl Fox
The Thames bag
Not only have we been de-stashing but we have been making sure our needles and hooks are all sorted out and paired up, and our cables are just were we can find them.
KnitPro has lots of fantastic storage products. Our favourite is The Thames which looks just like a chic Handbag in delicious fashion colours. It is perfect for your interchangeables and has room for DPNs and crochet hooks as well as scissors and other useful tools.
We also have clutches and bags for crochet hooks such as this lovely stripe (top right) called Ribbon; and for DPNs like this beautiful print (bottom right) called Eden Trail . Your local yarn store will have a range for you.
Kaleidoscope by Debbie Abrahams and Jane Crowfoot.
Jane Crowfoot is an amazing crochet designer and well-know all over the world for her Crochet Club - members create an exclusive crochet project over several months with the patterns emailed each month. It is really exciting because the look of the completed project is only revealed in the last month.
Jane has collaborated with long-time friend, Debbie Abrahams, in a delicious book called Kaleidoscope which is packed full of original and very stylish knit and crochet projects like these. The book is really beautifully laid out and the colours and motifs are inspired by a famous church in France.
You can buy a copy of Kaleidoscope from Jane Crowfoot's website here
. Jane has kindly also given us a copy of her book for this month's giveaway.
The December winner of our bumper Christmas giveaway was Claire Gannon who has been notified by email. Congratulations!
This month we have a complete set of Symphonie DPN's for one lucky reader, as well as Jane Crowfoot and Debbie Abraham's book, Kaleidoscope - what a fantastic start to the New Year! Good luck.
