Greedy Colour's Baubles
|
Depending on when you read this there are around 20 more sleeps till Christmas. Have you put your Christmas tree up yet? Have you been baking mince pies or collecting holly?
We love to make new decorations for our homes and have chosen a few of our favourites to show you. As well as a great way to use up left over yarn there is something so charming about a little homemade decoration.
We'd love you to send us pictures of your decorations so please send them to us at knitproeu@gmail.com

 | Belinda Boaden's Hampstead Wreath |
|

We love to make pompoms - we can adorn hats, bags, socks shawls with them. As you can see from the wreath design above by Belinda Boaden they are all the rage for Christmas. Our Rejoice Pompom makers are a brilliant design. No more threading yarn through cardboard circles for hours. Just wind the yarn on each half, clip them together, cut and tie, and hey presto or should that be Yo Ho Ho! Once you start you will want to turn every scrap of left over yarn into pompoms.
If you like our book review below of Arne & Carlos' first book then you will need some good DPNs to knit the baubles with. We have lots of different ones to offer you from all of our ranges. Why not treat yourself to a set so you have everything you need in one place.

Book Review
55 Christmas Balls to Knit by Arne and Carlos
Arne and Carlos have an amazing international reputation for their Scandinavian designs and are widely credited for bringing so many distinctive Fair Isles into our high street stores.
We are so lucky that they have shared their designs with us through their books. The first one, published 2 years ago, is called 55 Christmas Balls to Knit. It is full of Christmas cheer for knitters featuring traditional Scandinavian motifs and styled in such a beautiful way.
You can buy the book here for £12.99.
