July 2013
Greetings!

It's never too hot to knit! Warm weather months are the perfect time to work on small projects, or warm weather accessories like shawls that you can wear during cool evenings or inside air-conditioned buildings.

Whether you prefer to knit or crochet we have great tips and project ideas all month long on all of the KnitPro social media channels: KnitPro Facebook, KnitPro Blog, KnitPro Twitter, KnitPro Youtube, and the KnitPro Ravelry Group.
Crochet Shawl Inspiration

This beautiful crochet shawl by Aoibhe Ni would make an excellent accessory to keep a light chill off your shoulders. We love KnitPro Basix Birch crochet hooks for working with slippery yarns because the wood grips the yarn better than metal hooks.

COMING SOON:
We'll also be releasing a new range of crochet hooks soon! Look for the KnitPro Waves crochet set featuring colour-coded soft grip handles for easy size identification!
Knit Shawl Inspiration
We love Stephen West's new shawl: Iberian Discovery. Circular needles with a long chord are perfect for knitting shawls like this that are worked from the top down. If you prefer wood knitting needles, KnitPro Cubics or Dreamz might be a good fit; if you prefer metal needles, we recommend Karbonz which are now available in expanded sizes. This pattern is also available in German
