From Renee

It is hard to believe that the Preschool year is almost over.  We have experienced so many joy-filled days here with your children.  They have explored, investigated, imagined, created, pretended, wondered, enjoyed books, counted, painted, and learned about this wonderful planet.  I know I speak for the entire faculty and staff when I say that our days this year were extraordinarily fantastic.  Thank you for sharing this time in their lives with us! For those of you who are moving on, we wish you the very best, and we hope you will please stop in and visit.  And to those joining us on our new journey, we're looking forward to many more exciting days ahead.

I want to thank our wonderful Parent Association Co-Chairs, Andi Hibbard and Anne Farra, for their coordination of all things Preschool and parent related.  Along with the assistance of many room parents they have hosted successful events such as Back to School Picnic activities for preschool aged children; Transportation Day; classroom parties; Thanksgiving luncheons; auction projects for Our Good Earth; teacher appreciation lunches; and our End of the Year celebration.  The support of our families allows us to enrich the experience of our smallest students.  Thank you for all that you have done to support our classrooms!

Finally, I want to recap the last few events we have had this week and for what lies ahead next week.  On Wednesday, the Preschoolers practiced sleuthing and panning for seashells with Andrew from Crocodile Creek.   Friday was our last "Big Sing" and the children sang their favorites from the School year!  We wished Ms. Cindy well and made her promise to come and visit us often!  Next week, we will send our Fours home with a little something special.  That's all I can say, you'll have to ask them about it Tuesday afternoon.  On the last day of Preschool, we will have face painting and popsicles on the playground.  The PA is also planning to make a one-of-a-kind painting of handprints for us to take to our new space at the Goshen Campus! Don't forget to stop by and watch our end of the year slide show. It will be playing throughout the morning beginning after 9:00 am carpool.

We are currently sorting through materials for the Moving Sale; please let me know if you are interested in helping.  (My last and final plea, I promise.)

Have a wonderful summer! If you find that those summer days are too long and your Preschooler needs something to do, give us a call.  Our camps are packed full of wonderful activities!

All the best,

Renee

We need help organizing before the big event and we also need volunteers to help on the sale days Friday (8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.) & Saturday (9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.). Please contact Andi or Anne if you are available to help.

Reminder

Our main carpool pickup is at the end of our Preschool day: from 11:45 a.m. until noon. We depend upon parents, grandparents, and babysitters arriving on time so our teachers and office staff can then get to the next place they need to be. We understand that the construction near the Preschool can be a bother, and we also know that sometimes things just happen; however, we will begin charging a late fee of $1 for every minute past 12:00.  Due to the number of tardy pick-ups lately, we feel this is necessary.
