Happy New Year! It is always great to get back to school and see all of our Preschoolers following a break. Because they are always growing and developing, each new day brings change and it's exciting to be a part of their educational journey.

Remember that your contracts are due in to our admissions office by Wednesday, January 15. They are coming in daily, and we want to secure your child's slot for Preschool at our Goshen Campus.

Your Generosity

Helping Hands Delivered

We want to thank all of the parents and volunteers that generously participated in our Helping Hands collection for the California Area Child Development Center. Andrea Hibbard and Anne Farra reported that two carloads of gifts were delivered. Thank you for making the holiday a little brighter for the families that we sponsored.

Holiday Wish Fund

The faculty and staff wish to thank our Preschool families for their holiday wish fund contributions, and to those who gave thoughtful and generous individual gifts. Your kindness and generosity amazes us!

Santa Sighting

Alex Gift, Ms. Sarah's husband, donned the Santa suit and delivered smiles and magic to the Preschoolers. The magic lingered even after Santa departed, as we had several reindeer sightings later on that day.

Need A Good Sitter?

Alex Gift (our above-mentioned "Santa") is designing an application that will aid parents who are looking for quality babysitters -- especially for short notice occasions. To assist with this, Alex has posted an online survey, which he invites our Preschool parents to take. This survey is purely voluntary, will take just a few minutes to complete, and can be reached by going here.

Get your tickets now to join us on Friday, January 31, at 6:30 p.m. at the Henry Clay for this year's Imagine! Art Auction and Scholarship Fundraiser. 100% of the funds raised go directly toward the School's need-based scholarships.

Invitations to the event should have been received over the holiday break ... don't miss this incredible evening for St. Francis School.

Once online you can also peruse the artwork and even get a jump on the live auction items and get one of only 25 VIP raffle tickets to a once in a lifetime trip to the French villa Maison Rose.

A Taste of St. Francis

Announcing "A Taste of St. Francis!"

The St. Francis Athletic Committee is pleased to announce the creation of a brand new book that will bring together the whole SFS community in support of our athletic programs! This attractive collection of recipes, artwork, and poetry that celebrates all things St. Francis is titled, appropriately,"A Taste of St. Francis!" We are now soliciting contributions for "A Taste of St. Francis" from everyone in the SFS community which will be sold to raise funds to benefit athletic programs on both campuses in the coming years.

We need YOU! Please submit your family's favorite recipe, a drawing, or a poem to us for potential inclusion in the "Taste of St. Francis". We want students, parents, alumni, teachers, and friends of St. Francis to be represented!

Girl Scout Cookies For Sale!

It's Girl Scout cookie time! If you would like to order cookies, please consider ordering from our St. Francis Girl Scouts. The 3rd and 5th grade troops are selling cookies, and orders from SFS families will be split between the two troops. To place an order, please email Sarah Dewberry. Cookies are $3.50 per box and will arrive in mid-February. Cookies considered nut-free are Trefoils, Samoas, Thank U Berry Munch, and Thin Mints. Other options include Tagalongs, Do-Si-Dos, and Savannah Smiles.
