For the last two weeks, the children have been busy working on different projects. They have created unique pieces for the "Our Good Earth" gala, with the help of our wonderful parent volunteers. Each one is adorable -- the tiny handprints, fingerprints, and creative painting techniques are the best I have ever seen. The children have also been busy decorating their classrooms and exploring ideas of activities to do with their parents at school this week. Thank you to all of the parents that were able to attend our Parent Luncheons this week.
Next Friday, September 20, is Transportation Day at the Preschool. A few of the confirmed vehicles are TARC bus, limo, Kroger truck, and a fire truck. All the others will be a surprise, so stay tuned for a full report from your child next week! If Friday is not a typical Preschool day for your little one, we want to invite you and your child to come and experience the fun together. The vehicles will be here from 9:30 a.m. - 11:15 a.m. and departing just before noon carpool.
If you are available to volunteer, please contact PA co-chair Andrea Hibbard.
Book Discussion
We have several parents that are interested in reading, Teach Your Children Well, by Madeline Levine. Please email me if you are interested in joining a group of parents for a book discussion.
Welcome to the world...
Byanka (Ladybug) and Baya (Shining Star) are big sisters to Baxter, who was born the first week of school!
Antonio Odom (Ladybug) is a big brother! His sister was born this week!
Congratulations to both families!
