Daniel Partida and Sulman Bhatti, Cheyenne & Arapaho Tribes, and Steven Landsberry, Alabama Quassarte Tribal Town, received Tribal RoadStar awards Tuesday, Sept. 15 at the Oklahoma Tribal Transportation Council Meeting at Oklahoma DOT.
SPTTAP presents three Tribal RoadStar awards at OTTC meeting
 
Daniel Partida and Sulman Bhatti, Cheyenne & Arapaho Tribes, and Steven Landsberry, Alabama Quassarte Tribal Town all received Tribal RoadStar awards for completing 10 of the 13 classes in the Southern Plains TTAP Center's Tribal RoadStar curriculum.

The awards were presented at the Oklahoma Tribal Transportation Council meeting at Oklahoma DOT on Tuesday, Sept. 15.

Two more Tribal RoadStar certified classes are coming up at Southern Plains TTAP Center in October. The Erosion Control Class will be held on October 8 and Leadership Principles for Difficult Conversations will be held on October 20. Don't miss these excellent training opportunities. Dr. Jason Vogel will share the latest erosion control techniques and a hands-on field exercise at the Erosion Control course in Stillwater on October 7.
Erosion Control (A Tribal RoadStar Class)

JOIN Dr. Jason Vogel for hands-on Erosion Control techniques and see a demonstration of erosion control products by Triangle Silt Dike. 

Erosion Control (Tribal RoadStar Program - Course 10) - This class will give an overview of the principles of erosion control. Recent erosion control techniques will be discussed along with current regulations and construction general permits. Low impact development and an erosion control field visit are part of the course. Instructor is Jason R. Vogel, Ph.D., P.E, Assistant Professor & Stormwater Specialist, Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering, Oklahoma State University.
