Trainers from the Bureau of Indian Affairs in Albuquerque, NM will be in Stillwater, OK at the Southern Plains TTAP Center on September 15-16. 

RIFDS manages the Road Inventory Data needed for the distribution of transportation funds to all Tribes. The purpose of this workshop is two-fold: to provide the required training needed to obtain access to RIFDS, and to familiarize existing RIFDS users on RIFDS enhancements.

GPS/GIS Data Collection (Tribal RoadStar Program Course 9) - This is an introductory, two-day course. The workshop covers the collection of data with GPS devices, creation of data dictionaries, conversion of GPS data to a geographic information system format, an introduction to GIS, and importation of GPS data into a GIS system. The workshop includes on-site data collection exercises.
