Environmental Issues and NEPA coming to Stillwater next Tuesday!

Environmental Issues & NEPA class is coming to the Southern Plains TTAP Center on Tuesday, August 26.

 

A BBQ lunch will be served. REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED!
 

This one-day training will cover Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act and important provisions of Section 4(f) of the US DOT Act. In the morning session, FHWA will provide a background discussion of the key laws and regulations regarding historic resources and NEPA. In the afternoon session, ODOT will discuss the specific environmental and cultural procedures and requirements followed by the state.  

  

Instructors will be John Hartley, FHWA, and Rhonda Fair and Scott Sundermeyer, Oklahoma DOT. 

 

This class is a component of the Tribal RoadStar Program of the Southern Plains TTAP.

FALL TTAP Training Kicks off August 26!
 
Erosion Control class on September 3 in Stillwater


 

Erosion Control (Tribal RoadStar Program - Course 11) - This class will give an overview of the principles of erosion control. Recent erosion control techniques will be discussed along with current regulations and construction general permits. Low impact development and erosion control site examples will be other class components. Instructor is Jason R. Vogel, Ph.D., P.E, Assistant Professor & Stormwater Specialist, Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering, Oklahoma State University.  


This class is a component of the Tribal RoadStar Program of the Southern Plains TTAP.

The National Safety Council's Defensive Driving Course strives to ensure that people get what they need to drive defensively--knowledge, skills and perspective that will help them continue to prevent injuries and save lives.
