Patti Monahan, Executive Director of National RTAP, joined TransAction Associates and the Neponset Valley Transportation Management Association from TranSystems Corporation, where she was a Senior Transportation Planner. During her tenure at TranSystems and its predecessor firm, Multisystems, she specialized in assisting clients with the planning and implementation of community transportation, ADA and other paratransit services, and human service transportation coordination.
Prior to her position with TranSystems, Ms. Monahan was Assistant General Manager for Special Services at the Merrimack Valley Regional Transit Authority and Program Manager at the Massachusetts Executive Office of Transportation and Construction, where she administered federal and state capital and operating assistance programs. Patti holds a Master of City and Regional Planning degree from the Harvard Kennedy School and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Classical Studies from Boston University.
