Raquelle (Kelly) Myers is a member of the Pinoleville Band of Pomo Indians. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of California at Berkeley and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Utah. Kelly serves as Staff Attorney for the National Indian Justice Center (NIJC) and as the Chief Judge/Administrator for the Intertribal Court of California, a court of limited jurisdiction in Northern California.
As a member of the National Task Force on Fetal Alcohol Syndrome and Fetal Alcohol Effect, Kelly also served on the CDSS Tribal Government Advisory Committee on Indian child welfare. She is a member of the California Judicial Council's Committee on Access and Fairness, National Organization for Victim Assistance - DSCAAP Panel, Child Welfare League of America's Board of Directors.
Kelly serves as a trainer for NIJC regional and on-site training sessions developed for tribal government personnel. She also teaches undergraduate courses on Federal Indian Law, California Indian History, and Tribal Government at the U.C. - Berkeley.
Kelly will be providing a 2-part session on Tribal Right-of-Way Issues on Wednesday, March 13, at the Tribal Transportation Summit in Norman, OK.
