Vacancy:  Visitor Experience Venue Manager Blue Mountains Botanic Garden (located at Mount Tomah)

The Botanic Gardens and Centennial Parklands is looking for a passionate, talented and creative marketing professional to run our visitor experience business unit at the beautiful Blue Mountains Botanic Gardens, Mount Tomah.

The successful candidate will preferably have experience in a consumer  
marketing team.

Blue Mountains Botanic Garden (located at Mount Tomah) is not accessible by public transport.

$97,437 p.a. Package includes salary ($88,015 p.a. - $97,426 p.a.), employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.

Vacancy: Curator - Heritage Gardens.  

Wellington Botanic Gardens, New Zealand

Looking after our heritage gardens (Lady Norwood Rose Garden, Bolton Street Cemetery and Truby King Park), you will be a key member of the Botanic Gardens team. 

This position will work closely with the teams across the Botanic Garden and Otari,  especially with the Visitor Experience Manager and Botanic Gardens Educator as we seek to tell our stories through plants and through our collections. 

You will be accountable for the highest standards of horticultural practice across your sphere of influence.

We are looking for someone who has knowledge and proven experience in
  • Amenity horticulture (with a proven aptitude for collections management).  Minimum qualifications required are L4 Advanced Certificate in Amenity Horticulture or equivalent experience
