Ocean-freight container shipments are currently been prepared for Bolivia, Colombia, Haiti, Honduras, Guatemala and Liberia.

Medical Bridges has sent a total of 48 ocean-freight container shipments so far this year to the following countries:  sixteen to Pakistaneleven to Guatemalafour to Nigeria, four to Côte d'Ivoire, two to Turkey, two to Gaza, two to Liberiaone to the Philippines, one to Maltaone to Kenya, one to Ghana, one to Sierra Leoneone to Swaziland and one to Haiti.

Thank you to the volunteers who helped decorate the Medical Bridges' Christmas tree at the Houston Museum of Natural Science on Tuesday, December 2nd. 

If you have the opportunity, visit the HMNS and stroll the Grand Hall to enjoy the display of the lovely Christmas trees. The trees will be displayed through January 1st. (read more)
Volunteer Appreciation Open House
Thank you to those who attended the Volunteer Appreciation Open House on Friday, December 5th.

MOAS Saves Nearly 3,000 Lives in 60 Days
Migration Offshore Aid Station (MOAS) is a private non-governmental initiative to save lives in the Mediterranean Sea, one of the world's deadliest border crossing, by coordinating activities with the Rescue Coordination Centers in the region.

From August 25th through October 31st, 2014, MOAS has carried out three 20-day missions at sea. (read more)
