Ston Camo, the original multi-terrain application solution for the ultimate in concealment, is now available for a variety of outdoor products including firearms, firearm accessories, blinds, fishing gear and boats, outdoor apparel and ATVs. Unlike available camo options that allow the outdoorsman only one option in terrain, season and habitat, Stōn Camo is designed to provide maximum concealment throughout the seasons, in a variety of habitats, geography and terrain. Concealment is maintained whether at close range or at a distance due to the larger overall print tiling that eliminates repeating patterns, thus allowing for a more natural, congruous appearance..

TrackingPoint announced a new family of bolt-action precision-guided firearms that are significantly lower in weight than their previous bolt-action hunting systems. The newly introduced 300WM and .308 are approximately 10% lighter compared to the prior 750 Series. The company is also introducing a 260 precision-guided firearm that weighs 10 pounds.
The 300WM and 308 can track targets moving as fast as 15 mph and up to one-half mile away. The 260 can track targets moving as fast as 10 mph and up to one-third mile away. Once the target is locked and tracked, the fire control system assists the shooter in making shots that were formerly almost impossible even for elite marksmen. Targets are tracked to within 0.38 inches at one-half mile on the 300WM and 308 and to within 0.25 inches at one-third mile on the 260.
Each model is Internet-enabled via wi-fi. Companions and fellow hunters can see what the shooter sees. All models are available for order now. The Precision-Guided 300WM and 308 bolt actions are $12,995 and will ship in April 2015. The Precision-Guided 260REM is $7,495 and will ship in May.

Editorial
Time for a Paradigm Shift
David A. Lombardo
"Come gather 'round people, wherever you roam, and admit that the waters around you have grown. And accept it that soon you'll be drenched to the bone. If your time to you is worth savin', then you better start swimmin', or you'll sink like a stone, for the times they are a-changin'."
Ironically those words penned by Bob Dylan in 1963 in protest to the establishment take on a new meaning today.
"Come senators, congressmen, please heed the call. Don't stand in the doorway; don't block up the hall. For he that gets hurt will be he who has stalled. There's a battle outside and it is ragin'. It'll soon shake your windows and rattle your walls, for the times they are a-changin'."
Indeed, there is a battle going on in this country, and it has many fronts. We have those who take from the system and complain while doing it. They are the fourth or fifth generation of takers who bleed the system dry rather than lift a finger to better their position. Those complainers are getting louder and more violent. Their flames of raging self-indulgent entitlement are constantly being fanned by those narcissistic community organizers with phony divinity titles that get rich off of the chaos and hatred they spread.
And then we have ISIS, al Qaeda and a seemingly never-ending host of psychotics whose sole intention in life is to kill as many people as possible before getting blown up themselves. I don't know which, if either, is worse, but combined they are the jaws of a vice powerful enough to squeeze the life out of the democracy.
It is oft quoted by liberals that we are two Americas, and I must reluctantly admit I agree. We have those socially deviant miscreants on one side and the law-abiding, hard-working, tax payers who prop up an ever-increasingly heavy burden while dancing in between gunshots, muggings, mass murders and beheadings on the other side.
With my apologies to Dylan, the times are indeed changing, and the pendulum has begun to swing back. John Q has had just about enough of the chaos, bloodshed and attempts to brand him with the evils of the world, when it is precisely that evil that's attempting to do the branding.
Now all this may sound like one of my typical rants, except this time I have Interpol on my side. The International Criminal Police Organization is a non-governmental organization facilitating international police cooperation. Established in 1923, Interpol is hardly known for its support of the private ownership of firearms, yet about a year ago, Interpol Secretary General Ronald Noble said the U.S. and the rest of the democratic world is at a security crossroads and suggested an answer could be arming civilians.
In an exclusive interview with ABC News, Noble said there are really only two choices for protecting open societies from attacks like the one on Westgate mall where so-called "soft targets" are hit: either create secure perimeters around the locations or allow civilians to carry their own guns to protect themselves.
"Societies have to think about how they're going to approach the problem," Noble said. "One is to say we want an armed citizenry; you can see the reason for that. Another is to say the enclaves are so secure that in order to get into the soft target, you're going to have to pass through extraordinary security." Personally, I'm for getting out ahead of these problems before John Q completely loses control.
It won't be long before Lt. Col. Dave Grossman's metaphor becomes reality with crystal clear lines drawn in the sand: there will be sheep, wolves and sheepdogs. But the sheepdogs are going to be getting very busy and won't have time to look after the sheep anymore. I suggest it is time for a paradigm shift. We've endured decades of continuous attacks on our Second Amendment right with government doing everything it can to deny law-abiding, hard-working people the right to defend themselves, yet mayhem abounds and is growing. That philosophy's worked out really well, hasn't it? I think it's time for sheep to come into the light and earn sheepdog status.
"The line, it is drawn; the curse, it is cast. The slow one now will later be fast. As the present now will later be past, the order is rapidly fadin'. And the first one now will later be last for the times they are a-changin'."

NSSF Report: More Women Owning Guns,
Target Shooting and Hunting
A recent National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) study indicated more than half of the women (55.6 percent) participating said they intend to purchase at least one firearm in the next 12 months. The 2014 study of women ages 18 to 65 who owned at least one firearm indicated over a third of the women were new gun owners and primarily between the ages of 18 and 34.
The most commonly-owned firearm is a semiautomatic pistol, with 56 percent of women reporting they owned at least one; shotguns ranked second (50 percent). Women purchasing a gun in the last 12 months spent on average $870 on firearms and more than $400 on accessories.
Nearly all the women (95 percent) have tried target shooting, and more than half (58 percent) have hunted. More than 42 percent of the surveyed women have a concealed carry permit for their state of residence. Nearly three-quarters (73 percent) of them reported having taken at least one training class.
According to the National Sporting Goods Association, female engagement in target shooting grew 60 percent, to 5.4 million participants, between 2001 and 2013 and was up 85 percent for hunting, to 3.3 million participants, during that same period.

Bloomberg Stages Anti-gun
Indoctrination Camp for Reporters
Michael Bloomberg's at it again. His anti-gun cabal, Everytown for Gun Safety, is partnering with the Columbia Journalism School to offer a two-day workshop on April 17-18 in Phoenix, Arizona, for media figures who cover guns and gun issues. The Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism's Dart Center for Journalism and Trauma claims to promote "informed, innovative and ethical news reporting on violence, conflict and tragedy." Along with Bloomberg, however, it's poised to inflict trauma on your constitutional right to arms, which it apparently views not as a great and fundamental freedom but a "tragedy."
Covering Gun Violence, a two-day workshop for journalists covering guns and gun violence, might, under other circumstances, seem reasonable enough. In this case, however, the seminar's announcement betrays its ideological agenda by mentioning in the first paragraph the discredited, inaccurate, and unethical falsehood that "[n]early 100 school shootings have occurred since the massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary only two years ago." In a previous version of this bogus claim, Bloomberg's Everytown group was so desperate to pad the statistics that they even included acts of self-defense that happened to occur on or near an academic campus as a school shooting.
Nor will the workshop likely see any pro-gun attendees. Again displaying Bloomberg's propensity for using money to get his way, attendees must "apply" by submitting resumes and "letters of interest," and half could qualify for "travel stipends" of up to $350. A paid trip to sunny Phoenix in early spring for a free seminar associated with a prestigious New York journalism school, with only hand-picked and vetted participants, could certainly aid enlistment for Bloomberg's anti-gun media army. House Floats Interstate Transportation
of Firearms and Ammunition Bill
U.S. Rep. Morgan Griffith (R-Va.) recently introduced H.R. 131, a bill that would more comprehensively address the interstate transportation of firearms and ammunition for law-abiding gun owners. Current federal law guarantees the right of law-abiding persons to transport firearms between two locations where they have a legal right to possess and carry them, regardless of state or local laws that would otherwise apply. The firearm must be cased or otherwise not readily accessible. Unfortunately anti-gun local officials are using overly-restrictive state licensing laws to harass and prosecute travelers who have made every effort to comply with the law, resulting in seized guns that are sometimes never returned, delayed travel, legal fees and sometimes even unnecessary guilty pleas. H.R. 131 would ensure the law has the effect Congress intended when it was passed more than 25 years ago. Specifically the legislation would make clear that transportation of both firearms and ammunition is federally protected, as well as expand the protections afforded to travelers to include "staying in temporary lodging overnight, stopping for food, fuel, vehicle maintenance, an emergency, medical treatment and any other activity incidental" to the trip. Additionally the bill would place the burden of proof clearly on the state to show that the traveler failed to comply with the law. The NRA fully supports H.R. 131 and appreciates Rep. Griffith's leadership on this important issue.

BATFE Reverses Prior Position
on Pistol Stabilizing Braces
BATFE has issued an open letter on the redesign of stabilizing braces saying, "[a]ny person who intends to use a handgun stabilizing brace as a shoulder stock on a pistol (having a rifled barrel under 16 inches in length or a smooth bore firearm with a barrel under 18 inches in length) must first file an ATF Form 1 and pay the applicable tax because the resulting firearm will be subject to all provisions of the NFA [National Firearms Act]." According to the letter, BATFE finds that "[b]ecause the NFA defines both rifle and shotgun to include any "weapon designed or redesigned, made or remade, and intended to be fired from the shoulder," any person who redesigns a stabilizing brace for use as a shoulder stock makes a NFA firearm when attached to a pistol with a rifled barrel under 16 inches in length or a handgun with a smooth bore under 18 inches in length." It's unclear how simply using a device in a certain way without altering it "redesigns" it, but the letter insists that BATFE "applie[d] the common meaning" of "redesign" in order to reach this conclusion. In response Sig Sauer has issued the following statement: "As reaffirmed in an Open Letter by ATF's Firearms and Ammunition Technology Division dated January 16, 2015, the Pistol Stabilizing Brace (SB15 and SBX) is legal to own, legal to purchase, and legal to install on a pistol. Sig Sauer believes that the PSB improves the single-handed shooting performance of buffer tube equipped pistols and offers the product both as an accessory and pre-installed on a number of pistols.
"The Open Letter goes further to rescind a previous private letter regarding the 'intent' of the user of the pistol stabilizing brace. In the letter of January 16, 2015, ATF opines that a person's actual use of the product as a shoulder stock can change the legal classification of the product. However the Open Letter explicitly states: 'ATF hereby confirms that if used as designed-to assist shooters in stabilizing a handgun while shooting with a single hand-the device is not considered a shoulder stock and therefore may be attached to a handgun without making a NFA firearm.'
"We question ATF's reversal in position that the classification of the brace may be altered by its use. We are reviewing the legal precedents and justification for this position and will address our concerns with ATF in the near future.
"We will vigorously defend the classification of all of our products and our consumers' right to use them in accordance with the law. If we find that the open letter opinion is outside the scope of the law, we will seek further review."
