LaserLyte is offering the first pistol laser made from injection-molded tan glass-filled nylon. The LaserLyte Center Mass Laser, or CM-MK4T, displays a ring of red laser dots that surround the center aiming laser for quicker target acquisition and a higher score rate. The compact laser component and battery housing are secured in a durable, tan body that, unlike painted pistol lasers currently on the market, will not wear or scratch. The LaserLyte CM-MK4T projects a ring of 8 red laser dots with one red laser dot in the center as the aiming laser. The circle grows at 1-inch per yard, approximately the same configuration as a shotgun aimed at a moving target. MSRP: $149.95.

HuntSoft.com has launched its mobile application for Apple iOS. HuntSoft is the total solution for hunters who want to make the most of the data they collect each season. The free app allows hunters to easily create a map of their property, enter game log data, access weather and more. "So many hunters still use a paper game log for managing sightings and kills on their property," said John Barton, Jr., one of the company's investors and an avid deer hunter. "Now they can quickly log the same information into our mobile app, and it automatically tags each entry with weather and lunar details," Barton said. The mobile app is available for free for one property and up to 50 Game Log entries. Packages that cover multiple properties and additional Log entries are available for a monthly or yearly subscription fee.

Editorial
I'm tired
David A. Lombardo
I am sick and tired of all the crap that's going on in the world in general and in this country in particular. The world's shining beacon of hope has been dragged down to a level of chaos heretofore only seen in distant, third world and despotic countries. This isn't the country I was born into, and it certainly isn't the country my parents immigrated to for a better life in the early 20th Century.
I'm tired of smiling faces telling us what they'll do when elected only to turn around and do the opposite once they are. I voted for the restoration of sanity, and all I've seen is business as usual. Elected officials should come with a 90-day warranty with a self-destruct clause.
I'm tired of a government that makes up bogus threats and uses them as excuses to whittle away at our civil liberties. Here's a message to the executive, legislative and judicial branches: take your drones, red light cameras, national health care plan, spy satellites, wire-tapping, IRS, EPA, TSA and stick 'em where the sun don't shine. Oh, yeah, and how about you sleazeballs being required to abide by every law you pass that John Q has to abide by? I'd like to see you clowns forced to live on Social Security and Medicare.
I'm tired of entitlement programs and everyone associated with them, from beneficiaries to their elected officials-those shiftless politicians who buy votes by convincing people to trade personal responsibility for a free cell phone, food stamps and subsidized housing. If you're truly down on your luck, then we should give you a hand, but you have to work for it-no more free rides. And how about you pee in a cup to get that check? Some poor working slob had to do it to earn the money we're giving you; here's a cup-go do it.
I'm tired of paying for people to have babies so they can get more government handouts. Okay, first kid-you get a pass, and we'll give you a hand, but again, you've got to work for it. Second kid, with no dad in sight: zippo, nada. You figure out how to pay those bills. Third kid: all your benefits get revoked, and you're on your own.
I'm tired of people rioting in the streets because of some perceived injustice. The facts are the facts, and no amount of stolen televisions and burning businesses will change the truth. If someone's guilty, let them pay the penalty; if they're not guilty, embrace the suck and accept that your favorite cause du jour really is a scumbag who deserved what he got.
I'm tired of anyone who bashes the United States of America. I don't mind intelligent discourse on how to make things better because we're far from perfect, but no country on Earth has ever done more for the tired, the poor, the huddled masses yearning to breathe free. If you fools acted this way in two-thirds of the countries on this planet, you'd simply disappear, never to be heard from again. You don't like it here? Go somewhere else.
I'm tired of political correctness, of the ability of one loose wingnut to be able to disassemble an entire group's lifestyle simply because they feel offended by it. I'm offended by your self-indulgent, narcissistic attitude. Just shut up and let law abiding citizens follow their religious and social tenets. Among my friends I see a rich diversity including black, Asian, Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Buddhist, atheist and gay. I wished them all Merry Christmas, and they replied the same; we respect one another's diversity and understand my saying Merry Christmas is a gesture of good will. If that offends you, shut up. Oh, yeah, and sign up for some psychotherapy.
I'm tired of people bashing cops. Are there bad cops? You bet, just like there are bad doctors, bad teachers and bad politicians. But I spent the better part of 20 years in two states working as a part-time deputy, and there is nobody on the planet more dedicated to preserving the peace and righting wrongs than the average, day-in, day-out cop. The notion that law enforcement specifically targets any law abiding group is crap. These are people who have dedicated their lives to protecting the innocent, who willingly put a small silver or gold target over their heart every day and hope they will return home that night to their families. You think your particular special interest group is under-represented in law enforcement? How about you get an education, lead a law-abiding life and apply to be a cop yourself.
I'm tired of pacifist losers telling me I don't have a right to be armed to protect myself, my community and my country. Conservatives cite the Constitution; liberals are forever trying to interpret it. Excuse me, the Constitution works perfectly fine as written because it's written to protect us from idiots like you.
I'm tired of what America has become under liberal leadership. We have become a weak, obsequious nation. We have so stripped our military of the equipment, support and pride they need to effectively fight a war that third world clowns bedecked in phony medals and gold braid think they can do as they please. How did we get to the point that some fanatical gang of thugs can behead our civilians with impunity or that some two-bit punk kid with a bad haircut can shut down a major motion picture studio, if even for a little while? As crippled as it may be, we still have the most powerful military in the world, yet we shackle it with foreign policy dictated by cowards and apologists.
And more than anything, I'm tired of a populous that shakes its collective head then puts up with it. It's no longer possible to turn the tide of over 50 years of entitlement programs, to stop rioting in the streets over injustices that may not even exist or to stop ISIS or any of a half-dozen other terrorist groups from causing havoc on American soil. My advice is to be prepared for what is most likely to come: be armed, be vigilant and be ready. You owe it to your family and your country.

Patriots stage largest felony
civil disobedience rally in history
A Tim Brown Freedom Outpost article reports between 1000 and 3000 armed law-abiding citizens gathered in an "I will not comply" rally in Olympia, Washington, to protest that state's newest gun control legislation. I-594 was backed by Michael Bloomberg and Bill Gates. According to organizer Gavin Seim, "This is not simply a protest; we will openly exchange, buy and sell and trade guns and start a plan to break apart this legislation and violate I-594 in every possible way. Because all law that violates the Constitution is not law, it is void!" Seim even refused to obtain a permit to exercise the rights granted him under the First Amendment to freely protest (freedom of speech) his government. Interestingly enough, the Washington State Patrol said that they would not be arresting anyone for exchanging or selling their guns. Seim, who led the protest in a prayer and then in the Pledge of Allegiance, said, "I am not pledging obedience to the government, it is to the Republic. We don't ask for our rights, and we don't negotiate for our rights. We will take America back."

Appellate court throws out
traditional ammunition ban
The U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia recently upheld the dismissal of the latest lawsuit brought by anti-hunting groups petitioning the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to issue regulations banning traditional ammunition with lead components. The refusal by the EPA to consider the petition was challenged by the anti-hunting petitioners in federal court in 2013. Traditional ammunition represents 95 percent of the U.S. market and is the staple ammunition for target shooters, hunters and law enforcement, with more than 14 billion rounds sold annually. The National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) joined the lawsuit on the side of the EPA to ensure that interests of industry and hunters were properly represented. The U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia ruled that the EPA had properly dismissed the petition filed under the Toxic Substances Control Act. The petitioners appealed that ruling to the U.S. Court of Appeals, which heard the case in late October. EPA has consistently denied repeated attempts by anti-hunting groups led by the extremist Center for Biological Diversity (CBD) to have the agency ban traditional ammunition, and the court had dismissed an earlier case brought by CBD seeking the same relief. The latest suit simply added more parties. In addition to NSSF, the National Rifle Association, Safari Club International and the Association of Battery Recyclers intervened in the case.

CCRKBA blasts 'public service' message
that suggests gun law violations
The Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms has decried a so-called public service announcement that literally encourages teens to commit firearms felonies ostensibly to get firearms out of their homes in the interest of safety. The Washington Times and other sources identify the PSA as having been produced by a San Francisco-based production company called Sleeper 13 Productions. The nearly three-minute video shows a teen taking what appears to be a loaded handgun out of his parents' drawer, hiding it in a backpack and taking it to school, where he hands it over to a teacher and asks that the gun be taken away. "The series of crimes depicted in this video is simply astonishing," said CCRKBA Chairman Alan Gottlieb. "We're talking about felony theft of a firearm, illegal possession of a handgun by a minor, having a gun in a school, illegal concealed carry by a minor, brandishing and maybe one or two other crimes, depending upon the jurisdiction. We understand from published reports that angry messages have been showing up on this company's Facebook page," Gottlieb said, "and rightly so. The message of this video is so monumentally stupid that if any youth does something like this after watching it, the producers should face charges. If someone is hurt, they should face both criminal and civil liability."

U.S. Senate approves Murthy as Surgeon General
The U.S. Senate, on a nearly party-line vote, approved Dr. Vivek Murthy 51-43 to serve as U.S. Surgeon General. Three Democrats, Heidi Heitkamp (N.D.), Joe Donnelly (Ind.) and Joe Manchin (W.V.) joined all (but one) Republicans in opposing Murthy. Outgoing Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) brought the nomination forward in the lame duck session when the vote could no longer affect the results in tight Senate races. Murthy, a Harvard professor, had his nomination held up for more than a year because of his support for gun control and his political activity in President Obama's campaign. Murthy, 37, has said he will focus on preventing chronic diseases, efforts to curb smoking and programs to improve diets and combat obesity. Surgeons general do not serve on the president's Cabinet, but they do advise the White House and use their platforms to champion public health causes. Murthy, a Brigham and Women's Hospital internal medicine physician, ran into opposition because of comments he has made on Twitter favoring gun control and because he founded an organization called Doctors for Obama in 2008 that advocated for Obama's election and later morphed into a group called Doctors for America that supported the president's health care law. "The majority of his career has been spent, not as a doctor treating patients, but as an activist-an activist focused on gun control and political campaigns," Senator John Barrasso, a Wyoming Republican and physician, said from the Senate floor Monday.
