ILLINOIS CONCEALED CARRY LICENSE UPDATE
Effective September 30th - the Illinois State Police has approved the NRA Basic Pistol Shoot Course for eight hours credit against the 16-hour requirement for the Illinois Concealed Carry License.
SAFER USA is offering the eight-hour NRA Basic Pistol Shooting Course this weekend. Same price as always - $160 which includes use of a firearm and ammunition. Register for the class now before it fills.
NRA BASIC PISTOL SHOOTING COURSE

Saturday, October 5, 2013 - 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
This beginner's course includes both classroom and shooting instruction on the range. Students learn NRA's rules for safe gun handling; pistol parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; range rules; shooting from the bench rest position, and two handed standing positions; cleaning the pistol; and continued opportunities for skill development. Beretta U22 Neo .22 caliber semi-automatic pistols and ammunition are provided. These pistols are easy to operate and have minimal recoil. This course qualifies for an eight-hour credit toward the 16-hour training requirement for Illinois Concealed Carry.
All of the following are approved by the Illinois State Police for credit against the first eight-hours of the required 16-hours of training. Everyone is required to take the second 8-hours of training which includes the firearm proficiency course of fire.
